Andreas Zartmann, CEO

Andreas has extensive hands-on executive experience in software and technology companies–from start-ups to large, publicly-traded companies. He originally joined DigitalRoute in 2012 as CFO, and in
2017 he was appointed as the CEO to spearhead the next phase of the company’s growth.
As CEO, Andreas has led the rapid growth of DigitalRoute, as businesses across industries switch from selling products to selling usage-based services, supported by DigitalRoute’s Usage Data Platform. For more than 20 years, the platform has enabled businesses to track and orchestrate usage data, turning raw data into new revenue streams.
Prior to DigitalRoute, Andreas held key executive roles as CFO at various information technology and telecom companies, as well as in investment banking and management consulting. He holds a master’s
degree in business administration from Linköping University, Sweden.

Kathy Romano is a solutions-oriented financial executive with a passion for improving processes. During the course of her career she has proven her ability to build and lead successful teams in dynamic environments that require innovation, vision and significant change management. Kathy currently works as a senior advisor to Discovery Inc, the internationally famous provider of real-life entertainment and documentary shows. She guides Discovery’s strategy for billing and payments with the goal of maximizing their returns and assuring their costs.

Kathy’s experience covers systems and operations expertise across the order to cash process, coupled with the ability to develop a long-term strategy and deliver massive game-changing multi-year programs. Kathy is adept at responding to rapidly changing conditions and executing creative solutions to achieve results. She is a high-profile influencer who has redefined the norms in multiple industries.

Kathy spent 31 years at Verizon, ultimately rising to the rank of Executive Director with responsibility for billing strategy and governance. Her work for Verizon encompassed many ground-breaking initiatives, such as: leading the efforts to modernize billing; consolidation of staff in fewer locations; improving processes using Lean Six Sigma; introducing settlement processes for video content; designing and implementing the company’s retail revenue assurance program; driving down the number of customers impacted by promotional issues, and reducing the company’s provisioning-billing gap for Digital Subscriber Lines.
Kathy graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Maths and Business Admin.

Dr. Bert J Dempsey has been a Senior Solutions Consultant for DigitalRoute since 2014. Previously, he worked for 12 years as a presales engineering lead and technical evangelist with RateIntegration, a software company focused on telecom real-time rating solutions. From 1995-2003, he was an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina where he co-authored 35 research papers on topics in real-time networking and distributed systems. Bert lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with his wife and two daughters.
